Gully Boy’s collection breaks many records on its second week

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy crossed the 100 crore mark last Thursday. And now as per a report in Filmfare.com, the movie has banked Rs. 3.90 crores on Friday and gained back its momentum on Saturday by collecting Rs. 7.05 crores, bringing its total upto Rs. 111.25 crores in only over a week.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who has been following the business of Gully Boy, shared its latest figures in a tweet on Sunday.

The movie highlights the lives of street rappers and hip hop artists in Mumbai and takes you on a journey of the craft through the life of Murad, played by Ranveer Singh.

Co-written and directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy also features Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Varma, Vijay Raaz and Kalki Koechlin in important roles, among others. The dialogues, which have struck a chord with the viewers, have been penned by Vijay Maurya.
